About

Merissa is a 3rd year student at Akademi High School. She lives with her mother and sisters. She is from a rather wealthy family and Merissa, being the eldest child and was forced to work constantly. Since an early childhood, she's always been pushed to the top while her sisters were usually ignored by their parents. She remains at the very top of her game and takes everything seriously.

In elementary school, she wore glasses and long poffy dresses, but stopped in middle school. During elementary school, she was always made fun of for the ridiculous outfits her mom stuffed her into and for her classes. For the most part, she just stayed by herself except for a few of her close friends. Chijo was one of these friends. Her first year of middle school, she complained to her parents about her ridiculous outfits and eyewear. They agreed and had her where normal clothes and contacts. It was during this time she started being class rep and working on the yearbook. She had a rivalry with Megami Saikou throughout middle school until being defeated by her in terms of student politics, reputation, and even grades.

Entering high school, her friend Chijo turned from a serious type of girl into a complete whore, basically begging anyone and anything to fill her up. This displeased Merissa and she cut Chijo off. After, she had gotten laser eye surgery to fix her eyesight. She was one of the top of her class, once again falling to Megami. She would only sigh and shrug her shoulders. No matter how hard she tried, there was no beating this girl. She quickly befriended the popular students, becoming one of them herself. The summer after that year, her parents wanted to send Sohaku to a poor kids school and only focus on Merissa herself. Merissa did not stand for this and put her foot down, saying that either they're in the same school at Academia High, or she'd transfer to Sohaku's school. This was enough to convince them to allow both girls into Academia High School.

During her second year, she only slightly missed out on the student council and choose to not run again the following year. Most of this year was given to Sohaku in terms so she could actually succeed in school and get out of a nasty love hate relationship with someone Sohaku had known for years, ending in him having a mental breakdown. Upon losing the election, she would scatter around for something to use against the council and eventually got the help of a girl from the occult club. They found enough dirt to do something with it. Saiko used it to her own advantage in a way that she would benefit greatly if the occult president were to die or be unable to continue her role. Merissa did not stop and continued to collect information after the occultist had finished her business. With being someone with a high reputation, people would believe anything she said. If what she said was the truth, then it could royally damage someone. She used this to her advantage and became a real threat to the council.

Appearance

She has green eyes, eye shadow, and black hair. She wears the default uniform unless changed by the player. She tries her best to look as good as possible.

Personality

Merissa portrays herself as kind and sweet, as well as professional. She's always willing to help someone out if they ask her to. She is popular and occasionally join in picking on someone if she personally doesn't like said person. She doesn't always keep her kind face on one hundred percent of the time. During the time of her studying all the time and her parents controlling some of the business world through deception and lies, she found this to be a very useful trick. She doesn't care who she hurts to get to the top. It's almost impossible to tell if she's lying or not. Playing dirty is one of her many tactics to win, including getting dirt on others.

• Sohaku Homan
  • Sohaku is Merissa's little sister that she was unable to spend too much time with while growing up. Their parents only paid attention to Merissa so she would become successful. This, however didn't stop Merissa from dropping everything she was doing if Sohaku needed something or wanted to do something with her. Sohaku is the only person Merissa puts above herself.
• Saiko Surassha
  • Like most students, Merissa is terrified by Saiko. However, unlike most, she is actually willing to speak to the girl and talked her into getting dirt on the student council. They succeed, therefor they had an edge. It was Saiko however who benefitted the most.
• Megami Saikou
  • Megami is the student council president. Merissa pretends to get along with her and gets on her good side. They are in the same class during their second and third years.
